IMPLANTS
Our main goal is always to keep your natural teeth in the mouth. However, even with the loss of a single tooth, the natural balance is disrupted and the loss of teeth accelerates. In addition, in the long run, this situation brings with it different health problems. It is important that the necessary treatment is given without delay. Dental implants are the treatment method that gives the closest result to natural teeth.
What is a Dental Implant?
Dental implant; They are structures in the form of screws or roots made of titanium, which are placed into the jaw bones and are intended to heal around this implant and accept it as a part of itself. The reason why titanium is preferred is that it does not interact with body tissues and is a material resistant to forces. Implant application is the best and most modern treatment method known for the treatment of deficiencies by providing the closest force balance to your own teeth.
How is the Implant Applied?
First of all, the general health condition of the patient to whom the implant will be applied is evaluated and an intraoral examination is performed. Images are taken with our state-of-the-art 3D tomography device and the suitability of the existing bone for the implant is evaluated. By making millimetric measurements on these images, it is decided which length and diameter of the implant will be applied. After preliminary planning is carried out, the procedure begins with local anesthesia or sedation (when necessary). You can decide together with your doctor which method to apply. First, a channel is opened on the area where the missing tooth is located in the jawbone under the gum tissue and implants are placed in these spaces. A connector, known as a dental abutment, is then placed over the dental implant to hold and support the on-implant ceramic crowns (veneers). During these procedures, the patient does not feel toothache or pain. After the control examination He will give you an appointment for the measurements and rehearsals of your implant-supported dentures. Your treatment will end with the installation of your implant-supported dentures, approved by you and your physician, at the last appointment. Our dentures are manufactured - individually - with state-of-the-art devices to give you the most beautiful smile.
